Hey kidz. Today has been probably my laziest day here. I was super-sore from TKD practice. Hip flexors are NOT accustomed to working this much >.< My feet were still pretty sore this morning, I was opting to not do too much moving, so they could heal before Parkour practice tomorrow :) Today begins my 3-week intensive stretch routine. Let's see if I can stick to it? I met up with this other EAP guy who's moving into my building, and explored my building a bit (found loads of new rooms, and the laundry, always a plus). Then due to laziness we didn't end up doing much beyond watching tv in my room. Not knowing people + injuries = room-bound. But, I'm actually kind of enjoying my brief period of anti-social isolation, because I know as soon as orientation happens and I know people, I'll feel bad doing nothing or not hanging out with people.
Tomorrow is my first day of Parkour practice, so here's hoping my feet can handle it. I ordered TKD shoes today, so hopefully that will arrive soon so practice won't be as miserable? I'm also probably gonna have my first kickboxing/boxing class on Monday yay! Why I insist on punishing my body this much, I don't know. Now to find a way to get a jiu-jitsu uniform for UNDER 200$ *DOH*. Why they're so expensive, I don't know. It's definitely gonna be a bit before I go about making that purchase....though I am going to need it, since my judo uniform has so much extra fabric, I'll just be GIVING away free grips to opponents...
Four days until my first international orientation. Must....survive!
